Good morning everyone,

The stamp is called 'Daisy Swing' and I've coloured him up with my promarkers.
The background papers are from nitwits, and I've used my spellbinders dies and some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I've got a very busy couple of days ahead, more hospital visits, swimming lessons for the kids, and I promised them we could do some baking together . . .  anyway just in case I don't get chance to sit down with a cuppa and the computer have a fab weekend and thanks for visiting me.

Patchwork Daisy

Hello everyone,
For some reason I can't seam to get my head and my hands to work together -lol!! The challenge at Lilies Little Fairies is a sketch, fairly easy,  just pick my image and papers and follow the sketch! Oh no, I picked 3 images and couldn't decide which one to use then couldn't decide on the paper, then put the wrong papers with the wrong image and in the end. .  .  I gave up worrying and this is what was left!! I can't decide if I like it or not!

The rubber stamp is called 'Patchwork Daisy' and I love it. I've coloured it with my promarkers.

The background papers are from First Edition - Desert Blooms. The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from my stash.
Id like to enter the following challenges:-
Lilies Little Fairies - A sketch
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Thanks for taking the time to stop by, have a great Friday.

Flower Power

Good morning Everyone,
It's Wednesday so that means another challenge over at  I ♥ ProMarkers. This weeks challenge is
                                                                          'Flower Power'
We want to see cards with flowers on the main image - not just flowers added as embelishments!  and don't forget you must use promarkers to qualify for the draw.
This week we are sponsored by the Digidoodle Shop and the prize is a $10 gift certificate to spend in their online store.

I've used an image from the Digidoodle Shop - 'Calla Lillies'

I've coloured the image with my promarkers. This one took quite a while to colour, as I needed to do lots of layers to try and get some depth of colour!

The background paper is from Prima - Fairy Flora. I've just finished with a bit of ribbon and some gems from my stash.
I can't wait to see all your flowers - good luck with the challenge, and thanks for taking the time to stop by.

Just Wishing You. . .

Good Morning Everyone,

Well, I've finally done my first Christmas card of the year!! This weeks Penny Black Saturday Challenge is not to use patterned papers so I think it lends itself quite nicely for a Christmas card.

The rubber stamp is 'Just Wishing You...' and I've coloured him with my promarkers. I made my background from scraps of blue and white card.

The Christmas trees are from my stash and I've added some little white snowflakes, which are from a peel off stickers sheet from Craft creations.
I finished off with a bow and button, both from my stash that just happens to tie in with this weeks winter wonderland challenge!

I'd like to enter the following challenges ;

Penny Black Saturday Challenge - No patterned paper
Penny Black & More - Oh so Cute - 3rd entry
Winter Wonderland - Buttons and Bows

I'm taking the kids to their swimming lesson now, then to the hospital to see Dad, so hope you all have a lovely Sunday and I'll try and get round to visit you all tonight!

Star Wars

Hello,

My Hubby and Son are Star Wars mad, and I'd be in trouble if I didn't like it too! To be honest I love the Star Wars films and when I saw this Saturated Canary digi image from Krista Smith I knew I had to have him!! He's called 'Force'

I've coloured him with promarkers. My Son has big brown eyes so I think I'll have to save this card for his next birthday!

The background papers are a mix from K and Company and craft Creations. I've used an x-cut die to make the stars. I was pleased with this when I finished it but now I'm wondering if I've left it a bit too plain!

I'd like to enter the following challenges;-

Simon Says Stamp - Follow Dawny's Sketch
Papertake Weekly - A Stitch in Time
My Mums Craft Shop Challenge - Favourite Song/Movie ( Star Wars films)
Joanna Sheen - Someone Special - (My Son)

Have  a great Weekend everyone and thanks for taking the time to stop by.

Patchwork Butterfly

Good morning Everyone,
I was supposed to be going out this morning, but when I dropped the kids at school the sky turned very black and it was cold so I thought I'd stay home and do some housework. . . . . I know, I can hear you laughing, Ok so I made a card!!

This rubber stamp is one that I won on the Lilies Little Fairies Challenge a couple of weeks ago. It's called Patchwork Butterfly.

This weeks challenge at Lilies Little Fairies is Diamonds and Pearls. I've added small purple pearls all around the die cut circle and my diamonds in the corners.

I've coloured it with my promarkers. I really need to buy some more pens as I don't have that many colours!
I'm afraid I went back to my First Editions Spring Drop papers for this one. I love this pad, and I've promised Hubby I won't buy any more crafty stash until I've used up some of what I've got!!

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts,  I've used white sweetheart blossom flowers, 2 tone mulberry open roses 25mm, and floral foundations roses 15mm, and a cherry blossom!
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges

Lilies Little Fairies - Diamonds and Pearls
Wild Orchid Crafts - Spring is in the Air
Crafters Companion - Four Legged Friends

Well it's nearly the weekend  - yipeee! Have a great Friday and thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Country Pond

Hello Everyone,

It's Team Karen's turn this week for the Digi Doodle Shop Challenge. Our theme this week is
                                                                      April Showers
We would love to see all your water related cards! The prize is a $10 gift certificate for the Digi Doodle Shop.

I have used 'Country Pond' from the Didi Doodle Shop. This image is not one that I would normally go for, and is way out of my comfort zone but I thought it would make a lovely card. I am not used to colouring 'scenes' and I'm not convinced that I've done it justice!

I've coloured the image with my promarkers. The background papers are from up up and away by First Edition.  I've finished it off with a navy ribbon from my stash and a bit of bling!

If you're stuck for inspiration go and check out what my fab teamies have done!
I can't wait to see what you all do - have fun!

A Baby Girl

Hello everyone,

The challenge at Lilies Little Fairies is Transport and I'm afraid that my card has a very dodgy link. . . a pram! I thought that if a cardboard box can be a ship for a pirate then I should be OK with a pram for a doll!!?? I hope the little fairies let me get away with this one!! lol

This LOTV stamp is called 'Baby Girl' and I've coloured her with my promarkers. The background papers are from Nitwits, and the the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by.

I've coloured it with my promarkers. The background papers are from First Edition - Up Up and away. The challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge is to use spots and stripes, I used stripy paper for the middle band and I've just realised that I've covered up most of the stripes!

I used a marianne creatable die, and finished off with some of the gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I'd like to enter the following challenges

Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Spots and Stripes

Hello Everyone,

I would like to say a big 'Hello' to my new followers. So I want to say a big 'Thank You' to you. - It means a lot.

Today's card is a digi stamp from Digistampboutique and is called Oscar and Umbrella.

I've coloured him with promarkers. The background papers are from K and Company. I'm not sure of the name of the collection as it was a huge 200 sheet pad and I've lost the top page!

The spellbinders edgeability dies have been used again, I do love these but I know I really should try something different but Hubby has put me on a spending ban (again!!).

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges

I have managed to do a card without a hint of lilac or purple on it!!

I've used a magnolia stamp,  and coloured her with my promarkers.

The background was made with a cuttlebug embossing folder and spellbinders nestabilities and edgeabilities. I added some flowers with my joy!crafts die and a bit of ribbon.

Today's card is for a sketch challenge by Gayle at the Sugar Bowl. I love the sugar nellie stamps and this Gorjuss Girl is called 'Bear Hug'.

I've coloured her with promarkers. The background papers are from Nitwits, and I love them.  I seem to be making alot of purple cards lately!

I've even managed to use a different die for the border, this one is from marianne creatables. (Not my usual spellbinders edgeability!! LOL).

Yet another little Gift Hedgy!

Hello Everyone,

The Penny Black Saturday Challenge this week is to 'case' Helen's card. I've just got two more new PB stamps but neither quite fit this weeks challenge so I've gone back to my good old 'Gift Hedgy' stamp. What would I do without him??! LOL!

I've coloured him with promarkers and cut away his presents. I made a flower from a die and added that instead!

The flowers are made using a Joy!crafts die with card candi in the centre. The bow was done with purple ribbon, but no matter how many photo's I took it looks more blue on the picture! I'd like to enter the following challenges:-
Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Case It
Penny Black & more - Oh so cute

Thanks for taking the time to stop by, and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Thistledown Fairy

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for all your kind wishes about my Dad, I really appreciate them. He is starting to improve slowly, and the nurses are optimistic that he will get the use of his arm back. He is still in hospital and will stay there as long as he continues to improve. The nurses there are absolutely fantastic!

Now, onto today's card. This rubber stamp is Thistledown Fairy from LOTV. It's one of their older stamps but it's new to me and I love it!! (My new ones haven't arrived yet - bank holiday post!)

I've coloured her with promarkers and added some glitter on her fairy wings.

The background papers are from Nitwits. I've used my spellbinders edgeability die for the border.

I've added some of the gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. They are white sweetheart blossom flowers, 15mm floral foundation roses and a 25mm open rose. I finished it off with ribbon from my stash and a bow that took loads of attempts to tie!! I covered the badly tied bow with a heart shaped button.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges
Lillies Little Fairies - Ribbon, Buttons and Bows
Wild Orchid Crafts - Things with Wings
Sir Stampalot - Happy Birthday

Thanks for taking the time to stop by.
Happy Easter everyone.
